Celebration of Life for Patrick Siler

There will be a very informal celebration of the life of Patrick Siler, an emeritus professor of Fine Arts, at Koppel Garden (Pullman Community Garden at Koppel Farm) on Aug. 1, 2026 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., as a drop in. Siler, an internationally known ceramic artist, died in May. A piece of his ceramic art in the garden was recently sited in the garden, and his milkweed patch is in bloom. This is a cake-and-wander in the garden-reminisce type event  Please join us! Wear clothes appropriate to being in a working garden at that time of evening. The garden is located at the intersection of Derby and Professional Mall Blvd in Pullman. You can learn more about the garden online. This event is open to all who want to celebrate Pat’s life and/or his art and/or his enduring efforts on behalf of water conservation, milkweed cultivation, and monarch butterfly restoration.
