Celebration of life for Merrianneeta Nesbitt on Jan. 26

Our beloved friend and colleague Merrianneeta Nesbitt, assistant director of the Office of Outreach and Education in Student Affairs, passed away in December. The WSU community is invited to celebrate Merrianneeta’s life at an informal gathering on Thursday, Jan. 26, from 4–6 p.m. in the Elson S. Floyd Cultural Center on the Pullman campus.

Anyone who wants to share stories, grieve, or just be in a space with others who loved and knew Merrianneeta is welcome. There will be no formal program; this is simply a time for the WSU community to celebrate our colleague and her resolute work for equity and inclusion for all at Washington State University.

Those unable to attend in person are welcome to join via Zoom.
