Celebrate Jane Austen’s 250th birthday with the WSU Libraries

Jane Austen was born on Dec. 16, 1775 — 250 years ago (#Austen250). Please join the WSU Pullman Libraries as we bring out our special Austen holdings: First editions of Austen’s novels Emma, Mansfield Park, Northanger Abbey, and Persuasion (a gift from WSU alumna Lorraine (Kure) Hanaway) and Virginia Woolf’s personal copy of Pride and Prejudice, part of our world-renowned Leonard and Virginia Woolf Collection. We’ll also have additional Austen-related items including letters and critical works. The Austen table will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 16, in Manuscripts, Archives, and Special Collections, on the ground floor of Terrell Library.
