Catching up with the Modernization Team

With the end of August coming soon, the Modernization Team is excited to introduce the resources released this month.

Watch a recent video about organizational charts in Workday here. Organizational charts are brand new to WSU, which will allow employees to view their relationship to supervisors and coworkers within their department, and beyond to the broader University.

The Modernization Team hosted a series of meetings called the Grants Roadshow. The series answered questions and demoed how Workday will handle post-award grants management. Team members addressed different topics for each video, such as new terminology, training resources, approving transactions, and more. View the recordings here.

Since Workday lives in the cloud, this gives WSU employees the opportunity to use the application on their mobile devices, as well as maintain security and easily store information. Read more about changes coming to technology here.
