Carson College of Business hosts job offer negotiation workshop & panel

The Carson College of Business will host a Job Offer Negotiation Workshop & Panel open to all WSU students Thursday, Feb. 13, 5 – 7 p.m. in CUE 114 on the Pullman campus. Interested students must register on Handshake at https://wsu.joinhandshake.com/events/439683 by Feb. 13, as seats are limited.

Panelists Tom Tripp, Carson College senior associate dean of academic affairs; Chip Hunter, Carson College Dean; and a guest employer will guide students on negotiation techniques to obtain the best salary, start date, benefits, potential signing bonus and relocation package as they land their first jobs after graduation.

Students must arrive by 5 p.m. to participate in the interactive workshop portion and need to bring their cell phones or laptops. The panel discussion will begin shortly after 6 p.m. For more information, contact ashley.kuznia@wsu.edu or 509-335-1602.
