Capstone faculty development workshop in May: Register by April 21

The Office of Assessment of Teaching and Learning is proud to offer the below faculty development workshop:

Designing Effective Capstone Assignments: Strengthening Learning, Improving Success

May 12, 9:30 – 3:30, Pullman CUE 518

This workshop will address the special challenges of creating meaningful integrative learning assignments for capstone courses.

Those who teach or will teach a UCORE CAPS course are especially invited to attend, though faculty members teaching other types of culminating courses (fieldwork, thesis, practicum) are welcome, as are those who were unable to attend last year’s Assignment Design Charrette with Pat Hutchings. We will focus on creating and revising the high-stakes capstone and culminating course assignments.

Register online by April 21
