Call for Women* of Distinction/Woman* of the Year Award nominations

The President’s Commission on the Status of Women is excited to have opened up our call for nominations for the Women* of Distinction/Woman* of the Year Award.

This award is for people who identify as women and their allies, who have worked to elevate the status and equality of women. The WSU Women* of Distinction and Woman* of the Year Awards are traditionally presented annually during National Women’s History Month to recognize the achievements and contributions of women to the academic and local community, and to our society.

Nominations close Friday, Dec. 12, at 5 p.m. Submit a nomination and find more information on qualifications of the award and nominator requirements.

We look forward to your nomination submissions for this highly significant and impactful recognition!

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it. The self-uploaded posts are reviewed for compliance with state statutes and ethics guidelines but are not edited for spelling, grammar, or clarity.
