Call for events for 2022 Week of Welcome

Hello Week of Welcome Campus Partners,

For those of you interested in hosting events during Week of Welcome (WOW), August 13 to 21, we will continue to use the centralized process for our partners to submit their WOW events. All of our WOW activities/events will continue to live inside of WSU’s student engagement software “Presence”. If your Registered Student Organization, department, or office would like to host an event that is not a WOW Anchor program but needs to be included on the WOW schedule, please identify a member of your team who will register the event. If that individual submitted the event last year, they’ll use the same process from last year, and should still have access to presence. If the individual is new to WSU or hasn’t submitted an WOW event before, have that individual complete the Department Access Request form. Within two working days of the completion of that form, this person will be given access and instructions about how to register an event in presence for WOW.

Please remember that all submitted events should not conflict with WOW Anchor programs.

All events must be registered by Friday, July 29.

Please let us know if you have any questions by emailing wsu.wow@wsu.edu.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it. The self-uploaded posts are reviewed for compliance with state statutes and ethics guidelines but are not edited for spelling, grammar, or clarity.
