Call for applications: CIPHERS Education Scholars Program

The Collaboration for InterProfessional Health Education Research & Scholarship (CIPHERS) initiative at the College of Medicine is thrilled to announce the fourth offering of its Education Scholars Program (ESP), a longitudinal “community of practice,” for WSU health professions faculty, staff, and those with affiliate appointments who want to deepen their understanding of educational theory as it informs their practice and apply these concepts to develop skills in education scholarship.

Eligibility: The ESP is open to WSU health professions faculty and staff from all campus locations, as well as healthcare professionals with a WSU faculty appointment who teach in clinical settings. Individuals with teaching responsibilities who anticipate career paths dedicated to teaching, leadership, and scholarship in health professions education are encouraged to apply, in addition to faculty who teach in clinical settings and/or residency-affiliated faculty.

Schedule & format: Scholars will participate in nine monthly 3.5-hour synchronous sessions from October 2025–May 2026 in a hybrid format to accommodate in-person and virtual attendance.

To learn more: Detailed information about ESP 2025–26 program content, eligibility criteria, logistics, and application instructions can be found online.
