Former director of California’s “Arts in Corrections” (AIC) Jim Carlson and AIC advocate Carol Hinds will visit WSU for a film screening, discussion, and lecture Sept. 28 and 29, hosted by the Dept. of English.
Both are available to visit courses and meet with student groups during their time here. Carlson is available Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and Hinds is available during the day Tuesday.

Hinds will present “Re-imagining Rehabilitation: A Mother’s Story.” Her son began serving a 25-to-life sentence at New Folsom prison, near Sacramento, in 2000.
