Summer session is upon us and the CAHNRS Fac/Staff Evening Fitness classes are always ongoing every Monday to Thursday night at Ensminger Pavilion. Classes are open to all employees, staff, faculty, WSU retirees, and spouses there of. You do not need to register for any of the classes as they are free — just attend and have fun.
Classes are taught by CAHNRS staff member, Robert Yarbrough (yarbrord@wsu.edu). A certified group fitness and Tai Chi instructor and holds numerous exercise licenses.
Monday nights — beginner and intermediate Tai Chi. Functional aging Yang style Tai Chi for those who wish to regain mobility, flexibility, and balance.
Tuesday & Thursday nights — Zumba Gold. A low cardio/low impact dance fitness set to world rhythms. If you like to move, then this class is for you.
Wednesday nights — Yoga. A gentle stretching and pose holding to improve flexibility and balance.
Note: occasionally, evening events occur at Ensminger Pavilion and classes are relocated to a different venue. If you are not on the mailing list, please contact the instructor.
