CAHNRS faculty/staff evening fitness

For almost seven years now, CAHNRS has been offering evening fitness classes to all faculty, staff, employees, WSU retirees, spouses thereof, and students. Classes are free and are usually held at Ensminger Pavilion from 5:30–6:30 p.m.

The Autumn 2022 schedule is as follows:

  • Tuesdays
Zumba Gold – low impact/cardio dance fitness set to Salsa, Swing, Tango, Rock & Roll, Bellydance, Reggaeton, Merengue, Cumbia, Bachata, etc.
  • Wednesdays
Introductory Yoga – gently stretching and pose holding.
  • Thursdays
Zumba Toning – low impact dance fitness using toning stick.

Classes are taught by CAHNRS staff member Robert Yarbrough, a certified group fitness, aquatic fitness, and Tai Chi instructor who also maintains the Zumba and yoga mailing lists. An email reminder is sent the morning of class with the class location and Zoom invite for those who prefer to participate from home. Classes are also recorded so you can access when at your convenience.

If interested in attending, contact Rob at yarbrord@wsu.edu to specify which mailing list you would like to be placed on or for more information.
