The Department of Animal Sciences will host Dr. Elaine Ostrander, Chief and Distinguished Investigator for Cancer Genetics and Comparative Genomics Branch of the National Institutes of Health and author of “Dog and Its Genome” and “The Genetics of the Dog” will discuss how dog genomics can help unravel complexities of human disease and cancer.

The presentation will be held in Spark 227, Friday, Nov. 2, at 2:30 p.m.
