Bertha C. and Roy E. Leigh Distinguished Lecture – WSU School of Economic Sciences

The School of Economic Sciences would like to invite you to this special lecture which will be held on Tuesday, March 8, at 7 p.m. in CUE 203 with a reception to follow.

This year’s speaker is Dr. Joseph Harrington, Patrick T. Harker Professor, The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania who will be lecturing on: “Collusion – The Hidden Evil in the Marketplace: Are We Winning or Losing the Fight Against Cartels”.

Dr. Harrington’s current research focuses on collusion and cartels, with the objectives of developing observable markers of collusion, and designing competition policy to detect and deter collusion. He has collaborated with competition authorities in the U.S., European Union, and Japan; and was President of the Industrial Organization Society.
