Be the Change on 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance

On September 11, join more than 40 million people across the county to fulfill a national commitment to serve on this National Day of Service and Remembrance. To pay tribute to the victims and heroes of 9/11, the WSU Center for Civic Engagement is facilitating a variety of projects, including farm work with the WSU Organic Farm, bicycle repair with Palouse Bicycle Collective, and event setup or event assistance for Whitman Senior Living’s dinner with Pullman firefighters. The CCE provides transportation for WSU students to these three projects except for the Whitman Senior Living set up project.

In addition to these three projects, there numerous are opportunities throughout the Palouse listed online. Visit cce.wsu.edu to learn more about this National Day of Service, and click here to search for projects.
