Association for Faculty Women invites graduate student award nominations due Feb 20

The Association for Faculty Women invites nominations for three awards: the Harriett B. Rigas award (presented to an outstanding doctoral candidate), the AFW Founders Award (presented to an outstanding master’s student), and the Graduate School’s Karen P. DePauw Leadership Award (for doctoral candidates).

To nominate a student for one of these awards, please send a one-page description of the student’s accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, teaching, outreach, and leadership. Explain what makes your nominee an outstanding doctoral or masters student.

Send nominations to Laura Hill (laurahill@wsu.edu) by February 20, 2015. AFW will inform students who have been nominated and invite them to apply.  Please see more details about these awards and instructions for the full application process on  the AFW awards page.
