We invite you to our upcoming AAPIFSA general meeting on Thursday, April 1st, noon-1 p.m. via Zoom. In our upcoming meeting, we hope to connect on topics including:
- Community care and resources
- AAPI Heritage Month and collaboration opportunities with the Asian American Pacific American Student Coalition (APASC)
- Upcoming meetings with WSU administrators
- Spring 2021 Calendar
The AAPIFSA at WSU stands united against racism, hatred, and acts of violence against people of color. Hate speech and violence against the AAPI community has increased 150% since the onset of COVID-19 in the United States according to the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at California State University. The recent violent attacks against Asian Americans are wholly unacceptable. The AAPIFSA at WSU is committed to uplifting the voices of those affected by racism and xenophobia.
Important Note: Both internal and external WSU meeting attendees must be signed into Zoom to join the meeting.
