Are you an on-campus student employer?

It is about to be that time of the semester where on-campus departments begin hiring current WSU students for this upcoming Fall Semester.

If you are a first time employer, or have not hired a student in a while, there are a few crucial updates you need to know:

  1. All student employment functions are now housed through www.CougLink.org
  2. JobX has been purged entirely by WSU
  3. Student Employment Services have been relocated to the Academic Success and Career Center (ASCC)
  4. Work Study, Financial Aid, and other student financial questions are still directed towards Student Financial Services

If you are a first time user of CougLink, here is how to get started:

  • Go to www.CougLink.org
  • Click on the ‘Employer’ link
  • On the right of the screen, click on the ‘Register’ link
  • Fill out your department’s information and submit the registration form
  • Wait up to one business day to be approved and receive a confirmation e-mail and set a password to your account
  • Once approved you can start posting jobs to the ‘WSU On-Campus Student Employment’ job page
