Application for WSU student/faculty/staff supporting WSU’s LGBTQIA2S+ community

The President’s Commission on Gender Identity/Expression and Sexual Orientation will award two $1,000 GIESO awards for Fall 2024. A $1,000 scholarship is open to all WSU students attending WSU in the fall of 2024. We will also recognize excellence in LBGTQIA2S+ support for WSU faculty/staff/administration with a $1,000 award.   • GIESO Student Scholarship
    Students must complete the Washington State University online Scholarship application before applying. Once the general scholarship application is complete, please complete the GIESO Scholarship-specific questionnaire by March 3.
  • GIESO Faculty, Staff, and Administration Award
    Do you know a WSU faculty, staff, or administrator who has provided exemplary contributions to the LGBTQIA2S+ community? GIESO is accepting nominations for exceptional faculty, staff, or administrators who demonstrate the institution’s commitment to fostering a more welcoming campus culture and climate and shows LGBTQIA2S+ employees that they are seen, valued, and a vibrant part of the WSU community. Any member of the WSU community can submit nominations. If you know someone or feel you fit the description above, we invite you to submit a nomination by March 3.
