APAC accepting applications for vacant alternate seat

The Administrative Professional Advisory Council (APAC) invites applications from WSU Vancouver to fill an alternate vacancy on the council. The term ends June 30, 2021.

WSUV administrative professional (AP) employees interested in serving on the council can complete an application on the APAC website.

The deadline to submit is Friday, September 4, 2020, by 5:00 p.m.

APAC members serve as liaisons between the AP employees and central administration, representing the interests of APs across the WSU system and communicating important issues between stakeholders.

APAC objectives:

  • Serve in an advisory capacity regarding AP issues;
  • Represent the interests of AP employees;
  • Provide a forum where AP employees may discuss university-related issues of mutual interest; and
  • Disseminate information between AP staff and WSU administration.

APAC members meet monthly (for approx.1.5 hours), and council members have opportunities to serve on subcommittees, which may require additional time.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it. The self-uploaded posts are reviewed for compliance with state statutes and ethics guidelines but are not edited for spelling, grammar, or clarity.
