The Administrative Professional Advisory Council (APAC) invites applications from interested Administrative Professional (AP) personnel to fill vacancies on the Council. Openings are for 4 council positions to each serve a three (3) year term beginning July 1, 2019 and alternate positions that serve a one (1) term. We encourage any APs from all WSU locations to apply as we have alternate positions available to help represent your area.
Applications will be accepted from March 11–April 8. Please visit the APAC website and fill out the application.
The purpose of the Administrative Professional Advisory Council is to serve as a liaison between the administrative professional (AP) employees and central administration and to effectively communicate and resolve important issues.
Objectives of the APAC are:
- Serve in an advisory capacity regarding AP issues;
- Represent the interests of AP employees;
- Provide a forum where AP employees may discuss University-related issues of mutual interest;
- Disseminate information between AP staff and Administration. The Council meets on the 2nd Thursday for an hour and a half once a month with the expectation to serve on sub-committees which may require additional time.
For further information, please contact Gayle Anderson at apac@wsu.edu or 335-8350 or any council member. A complete membership roster is available on the APAC web site. Applications are due by 5 p.m. April 8.
