The week of November 18-22 is National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week (NHHAW). In Pullman, 40 percent of residents are living below the poverty line. To help address this issue, the Center for Civic Engagement, Compton Union and the Student Recreation Center will be holding an all campus food, supplies and clothing drive to help support our community. Donation boxes will be available on the CUB first floor near the food court and in the SRC main lobby. All donations will go to the Community Action Center in Pullman. Please consider donating nonperishable food items, household and hygiene supplies, and gently used or new clothing to help our fellow Pullmanites this fall. For a list of suggested donation items and a full list of events, visit cce.wsu.edu.
