AFW graduate student awards

The Association for Faculty Women invites faculty nominations for three awards: AFW’s Harriett B. Rigas award (presented to an outstanding doctoral candidate), the AFW Founders Award (presented to an outstanding master’s student).  These two awards are limited to students with graduation dates in Fall 2015, Spring 2016, or Summer 2016.   The third award, the Graduate School’s Karen P. DePauw Leadership Award, is for doctoral candidates and does not have a restriction on graduation date.

To nominate a student for one of these awards, please complete and submit the nomination form with a description of the student’s outstanding accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, teaching, outreach, and leadership.  We will accept nominations starting now through February 12.  The final application packets are due February 19.

AFW will inform students who have been nominated and invite them to apply.  Please see more details about these awards and instructions for the full application process on the AFW awards page. For questions, please contact Laura Hill (laurahill@wsu.edu).
