Affordable Learning Grants proposals due March 1

The Office of the Provost is pleased to offer another round of Affordable Learning Grants, designed to save students money on textbooks and classroom materials, and improve the student experience overall.

Faculty are invited to submit proposals for Affordable Learning Grants before March 1, 2018.

The awards will be used to develop high-quality, no-cost digital course material in support of WSU’s goals to reduce classroom material costs. Grants are intended to support transition from expensive commercial textbooks to freely available digital course material of equivalent or higher quality.

Grant recipients will receive technological support and advice through the Office of Academic Outreach and Innovation and WSU Libraries. Recipients of 2017 Affordable Learning Grants saved WSU students an estimated $269,000 during the fall term alone.
