ADVANCE at WSU Luncheon

Monday, Sept 14,  ADVANCE at WSU is proud to host a luncheon from  11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in CUE 518 with Professor of Biology & Director of the Friday Harbor Marine Laboratories at the University of Washington, Billie J. Swalla.

If you are interested in discussing one woman’s perspective on what it takes to succeed as a research professor, please join us but please RSVP to lavine@wsu.edu for the luncheon. The luncheon is open to all, faculty, postdocs, and graduate students. She will also present her research at the School of Biological Sciences Seminar at 4:10 p.m. in Abelson 201 hosted by Dick Gomulkiewicz and Laura Lavine. The title of her talk will be “Animal Ancestors: Passive Filter Feeders or Voracious Predators?”
