  • Global Services Workshop: Working with Foreign National Job Applications
    • Audience will learn special issues involved in a recruitment when there is a foreign national in the application pool, such as employer-sponsored work visa categories and their limitations, job advertisements, timing issues, procedures, challenges, etc. Interested faculty and staff are welcome to attend.
  • Global Services Workshop: Pathways to Permanent Residency
    • Audience will learn basic information leading to U.S. permanent residence (green card), such as requirements, timelines, procedures and challenges. International students and scholars, interested faculty and staff are welcome to attend.
  • Global Services Workshop: Seeking US Employment as a Foreign National
    • Audience will learn the options to allow a foreign national to work legally in the U.S. International students and scholars, interested faculty and staff are welcome to attend.         
  • Global Services Workshop: Employing and Hosting International Scholars and Students at WSU
    • This workshop is intended for any staff member who interacts with international students, scholars, and staff that are temporary residents. It is particularly useful for those involved with personnel-related duties such as obtaining necessary employment authorization for international researchers and teachers, hosting international faculty that are not employed, and completing paperwork for student employment.  Members of WSU Global Services staff will describe eligibility criteria, processes, rules, and policies for hosting and employing international student and scholars residing at WSU on temporary appointments, not permanent residency.
