Department of Retirement Systems Rate Change and Retirement Outlook Newsletter

As of July 1, 2015, the Department of Retirement Systems (DRS) changed the employee contribution rate for PERS 2 participants. The new rate is 6.12%, up from 4.92%. This new contribution rate was reflected on the July 24th paycheck.  The other DRS plans (LEOFF and TRS) did not have changes to their rates.

Additionally, for all DRS participants, the Summer 2015 edition of the Retirement Outlook Newsletter is now available. The Retirement Outlook Newsletter provides valuable information on Department of Retirement Systems programs, benefits and services.
