Call for nominations: President’s Award for Safety, Health, and Security

The WSU Safety Awards Committee encourages faculty, staff, and students to nominate deserving colleagues for the 2021 Safety, Health, and Security Awards.

Bestowed by the Office of the President, these awards honor who have taken extraordinary steps to see the WSU community safely through the past year’s challenges—including the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nominations will be accepted through Friday, Oct. 1.

Nomination guidelines

Individuals and groups are eligible for nomination.

To nominate a candidate, visit the Safety, Health, and Security Fair website and complete the nomination form. There you will find selection criteria for each of three award categories: safety, health, and security.

Presentation of awards

President Schulz will present the awards on Tues., Oct. 19 at the annual Safety, Health and Security Fair. The ceremony will start at 11:30 a.m. in the Compton Union Building Senior Ballroom.
