The first meeting about creating a Knowledge Corridor economic development initiative for the Pullman-Moscow area is scheduled for 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23, at the Schweitzer Event Center in Pullman.
The agenda will focus on examining collaboration across the state line that is needed to create a strong, branded regional economic development program, said Margaret Howlett, executive director of the Latah Economic Development Council.
The LEDC is co-hosting the event with the Pullman-based Palouse Economic Development Council. The four chairs of the initiative are WSU President V. Lane Rawlins, University of Idaho President Tim White, Bill Thompson, president of ComtechAHA of Moscow, and Robert Bodgen, president of Amplicon Express of Pullman.
The meeting is open to the public and a fee of $20 will be charged for lunch. Reservations are required. Contact Howlett for reservations at edc@moscow.com.
