WSU Faculty/Staff Fitness Classes

With the start of the new academic year, CAHNRS would like to remind everyone that free fitness classes are available to all faculty, staff, employees, and retirees.

The program is now in its 11th year and held every Tuesday and Thursday night at Ensminger Pavilion from 5:30–6:30 p.m.

This semester’s format:

Zumba Gold – low cardio / low impact dance fitness set to international rhythms: Bachata, Belly Dance, Flamenco, Reggaeton, Rock & Roll, Salsa, Tango, and always Pop.

Zumba Toning – low cardo / low impact dance fitness but using 1lb toning sticks.

If interested, please contact CAHNRS staff member, Robert Yarbrough (yarbrord@wsu.edu), a certified Group Fitness Instructor who can work with your level of desired activity.

Again, classes are free to attend and there is no need to register.  There is a mailing list that goes out the day of class as a reminder and any venue changes.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it. The self-uploaded posts are reviewed for compliance with state statutes and ethics guidelines but are not edited for spelling, grammar, or clarity.
