After 36 years of dedicated service to Washington State University, Terese King will retire in early August 2026. A respected institutional leader, Terese has played a central role in strengthening academic advising and career support across the university. For more than a decade, Terese served as executive director of University Advising and director of the Academic Success and Career Center, advancing access to advising, integrating academic and career planning, and supporting coordinated student success strategies across the WSU system. Most recently, Terese helped advance a shared advising model aligning practices across colleges and campuses. The university extends sincere appreciation for Terese’s lasting contributions and wishes Terese the very best in retirement.
