WSU faculty/staff evening fitness classes

With the start of a new year, many people are looking to bring about change to their lives. For 10 years now, CAHNRS has been offering evening fitness classes for free to all employees, staff, faculty, retirees, and spouses thereof. While classes do sometimes change, this semester will see the following:

  • On Tuesdays — Zumba Gold: dance fitness set to Bachata, Belly Dance, Cumbia, Rock n Roll, Salsa, Swing, Tango, and many other international rhythms.
  • On Thursdays — Zumba Toning: dance fitness using weighted maracas.

Classes are usually held at Ensminger Pavilion from 5:30–6:30 p.m. If interested, contact Robert Yarbrough, CAHNRS staff member and certified group fitness instructor, at yarbrord@wsu.edu.

No registration or sign-up is required. The instructor maintains a mailing list. The morning of class is an email reminder and any last-minute venue change.
