The David G. Pollart Center for Arts and Humanities is hosting an informational session for faculty members who are interested in applying for the Pollart Center Faculty Fellowship Program for Fall 2026–Spring 2027. Dr. Becky James, the assistant director of CAS research development, will conduct the workshop session via Zoom on Friday, Dec. 5, from 3:30–4:30 p.m.
David G. Pollart Center for Arts and Humanities fellowships support larger-scale research, exhibitions, or other major scholarship/creativity efforts that advance the applicant’s professional development. Fellowships are designated for longer-term (one year or more) projects that should also advance university-wide arts and humanities goals or initiatives.
In addition to making a public presentation on their work, faculty supported by fellowships also agree to meet monthly as a cohort. Organized by the Pollart Center, these sessions offer participating faculty opportunities for mutual discussion and feedback, as well as mentoring and networking. Faculty who have held a fellowship are required to wait one application cycle before applying again. More information about the fellowships can be found on the Pollart Center website.
