New Employee Benefit Q&A Sessions

HRS Benefits will be offering New Employee Benefit Q&A sessions at the following times via Zoom (Meeting ID: 812 058 2016):

  • Thursday, Sept. 4, 2:30–3:30 p.m.
  • Monday, Sept. 15, 11 a.m.–noon

(Previous sessions were offered on Aug. 19 and Aug. 27)

Benefit-eligible new employees will receive Workday notices of the benefit and retirement activities they need to address during the first 31 days of employment. An email is also sent to WSU email address, letting them know they need to address their elections to avoid being defaulted or missing benefit options. The email provides links to the Percipio benefit and retirement orientations, which supervisors should build time into their new employee onboarding for employees to attend.

Employees can address questions to hrs.benefits@wsu.edu or 509-335-4589, and visit the new employee benefit website.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it. The self-uploaded posts are reviewed for compliance with state statutes and ethics guidelines but are not edited for spelling, grammar, or clarity.
