SPRC June Sleep Seminar series — Dr. Zlatan Krizan

You are invited to attend the Sleep and Performance Research Center’s June Sleep Seminar series.

Dr. Zlatan Križan, PhD, will present, “Investigative Fatigue: How Sleep-Circadian Factors Shape Criminal Investigations.” This talk will review existing evidence on the extent of sleep disruption among law-enforcement, alongside evidence that such disruption undermines information-processing core to investigative reasoning; and a framework that links these disruptions to both micro- and macro-level investigative decisions is proposed. Empirical findings and real-world examples of investigative failures are used to illustrate core concepts, while potential mitigation strategies are discussed.

This is the third of four talks in the SPRC June Sleep Seminar series.
