Registration is now open for the third of four stand-alone virtual workshops in the Systematic Review Series, hosted by the WSU College of Medicine’s Collaboration for Interprofessional Health Education Research & Scholarship (CIPHERS) initiative!

Virtual Workshop 3: “Conducting the Review — Screening Your Literature Search Results” facilitated by Dr. Yihan Yang

This part of “conducting the review” serves as a roadmap to guide participants on how to systematically screen their literature search results. This session will introduce participants to established literature review process guides/checklists, as well as software resources that can streamline the review process. The session will share insights on how to avoid common pitfalls that may occur during the literature screening process.

Participants will be able to:

  1. Structure the review of your literature search results using established guidelines, such as PRISMA and PRISMA for scoping reviews
  2. Explain the pros/cons of using data management software like Covidence when performing literature review
  3. Avoid common pitfalls that may occur during the literature screening process.
