Social Security presentation — Oct. 10, noon–1:30 p.m.

HRS Benefits is hosting a presentation on “Social Security 101 — Everything You Wanted to Know.” Kirk Larson with Social Security will be presenting on topics such as:

  • When are you eligible to receive benefits
  • How an early draw can affect your benefits
  • Survivor, spouse, and disability benefits
  • What is the future of social security, and
  • When should you file for Medicare

This session is a repeat presentation of the joint presentation with Bellevue Community College from May 2024. WSU will be hosting this session with Bellevue Community College employees attending as well.
