Roadwork on Grimes Way

From June 17–Aug. 24, WSU Pullman will be expanding its electrical distribution infrastructure by installing an electrical duct bank with vaults on the north side of Grimes Way, starting just west of the Grimes and Olympia intersection, then east to the Grimes and Dairy Road intersection.

From June 17–19, both east and westbound lanes of Grimes Way will be closed and the south sidewalk and bicycle lane. Please expect detours during this time.

From June 19–Aug. 24, Grimes Way construction hours will be Monday–Thursday, 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. During active construction, Grimes Way will be down to one lane on the south side with traffic controllers/flaggers directing traffic. During the hours and days of no construction activities Grimes Way will be open for both west and eastbound lanes. Pedestrian and bicycle traffic will need to use the south sidewalk, as the bicycle path and sidewalk on the north side of Grimes Way will be closed from the Grimes and Olympia intersection east to Grimes Way and Dairy Road. Use caution when within this zone and plan accordingly.
