Learning opportunity spotlight featured course: BaCE Building Belonging

All WSU employees are invited as we extend this journey of growth and understanding throughout our community in celebrating the spirit of Juneteenth and Pride. Aiming to provide a courageous, and inclusive environment, BaCE Building Belonging is a safe space where attendees can delve into the elements that foster belonging and inclusion. We’ll examine behaviors that promote or hinder belonging, and together, chart out actionable steps to cultivate inclusive spaces where every team member can flourish.

Established in 2018, the Building a Community of Equity (BaCE) Program is an essential educative strategy in WSU Vancouver’s imperative to promote an ethical and socially just society through an intentional commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. While many classes are reserved for WSU Vancouver staff, graduate students, faculty, supervisors, and administrators, there are select system-wide offerings annually.
