WSU Pullman and WSU Extension phone system maintenance, March 11–15

Information Technology Services (ITS) is upgrading several components of WSU Pullman and WSU Research and Extension Units’ (REU) VoIP infrastructure starting March 11 until March 15.

Please visit its.wsu.edu for a complete maintenance schedule and additional maintenance details.

Although no phone outages are expected, Pullman and REU phone systems may reregister during the initial start of each maintenance window and should return to normal service within 5 minutes.

However, if a phone does not re-register following a maintenance window, ITS recommends users cycle the power on the phone by unplugging the cable from the back of the device and plugging it back in.

From March 11–15, service requests and changes for the Pullman and REU phone systems will also be postponed until all maintenance is complete.

If phone issues persist following this maintenance, please contact Crimson Service Desk at crimsonservicedesk@wsu.edu or 509-335-4357.
