“Spatio-Cinemati Betwixt: Architecture, Film, and the In-between” is the title of a new book, edited by WSU faculty Vahid Vahdat. Dr. Vahdat is an assistant professor of architecture and interior design at WSU’s School of Design and Construction. The book investigates the filmic creation of spatial imaginaries through the anthropological lens of “liminal space.” A great number of globally recognized scholars, theorists, and practitioners have contributed to this highly interdisciplinary volume. The book has been released in e-book and hardcover by Intellect, which is a leading publisher in the area of architecture and film.
