Do you mentor or advise undergraduates engaged in research?

Please share the news that those students may apply NOW for an award to support their research efforts in academic year 2022-23.

Applications are open for students who are, or are preparing to, engage in mentored research, scholarship, and creative activities (collectively referred to here as “research).  Applicants can be from all majors and years in college, on all campuses.

This year, more than $50,000 can be distributed from seven awards. Criteria for each award varies. Campus groups associated with the awards include the:

  • Office of Undergraduate Research (in the Division of Academic Engagement and Student Achievement—DAESA)
  • Team Mentoring Program
  • WSU LSAMP (Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation)
  • WSU Emeritus Society
  • Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture

Applications will close Jan. 21, 2022; the deadline for mentor support documentation is one week later, Jan. 28.
