CANVAS trainings for faculty in August

This fall semester, WSU is switching from Blackboard to Canvas. Academic Outreach and Innovation (AOI) is ready to support instructors with a variety of trainings available in August to help faculty get acquainted with Canvas. Our faculty trainings are split into two areas.

1) Canvas four-part series:

Getting Started
Assignments and Rubrics
Tests and Quizzes
Gradebook

2) Third-party tools that are integrated with Canvas:

Panopto
VoiceThread
Perusall

In addition to the trainings, Instructional Designers are available for on-demand support via Zoom on Mondays through Thursdays from 9-3, and will begin staffing the on-demand room on Fridays again on August 6. Learn more on our on-demand support page.
