Seminar: “Helmet test standards in predicting brain injury”

Please join us on Thursday, September 13, 11 a.m. to Noon in ETRL room 101 (Tri-Cities in Floyd room 101A) for a presentation by Arghavan Talebanpour on “An evaluation of helmet test standards in predicting brain injury.”

This talk with focus on brain injuries, one of the major health concerns in sports, and how to prevent sports related head injuries by protection systems that are improved and optimized. Ms. Talebanpour is a Ph.D. Mechanical Engineering candidate in the School of Mechanical & Materials Engineering at Washington State University. Meet the speaker before the seminar in ETRL room 119 from 10:30 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. Light refreshments will be served. This seminar is part of the School of MME Graduate Seminar Series.
