Records Retention Reminder

According to the Revised Code of Washington, Chapter 40.14, each state office is required to review its office records retention requirements at least once every two years.

The WSU Office of Procedures, Records, and Forms (PR&F) facilitates the records review process for all WSU offices by sending review requests and necessary reminders out on a biennial schedule.

If your office holds records related to University business and is not receiving records retention review requests from PR&F, please contact us; telephone 509-335-2005 or e-mail prf.forms@wsu.edu.  We are available to assist your office with any records retention questions or issues and ensure your office is complying with this important state statute.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it. The self-uploaded posts are reviewed for compliance with state statutes and ethics guidelines but are not edited for spelling, grammar, or clarity.
