All new titles 30% off; Lightly damaged books 50-70% off

Cooper Publications Building Lobby

Friday, April 6, noon-5 p.m. and Saturday, April 7, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

WSU Press receives lightly damaged returns from bookstores. We can’t resell them to retailers, so we are offering them to you! Browse our selection of over 100 books and discover cookbooks as well as volumes on railroads, Hanford and the environment, Native Americans, early settlers, and WSU football.

WSU Press concentrates on telling unique, focused stories about the Northwest, so you’ll find great new title choices, too. In Protest on Trial, young Seattle 7 activists face federal indictments aimed at destroying their ability to protest. Spirit in the Rock is a riveting narrative about the fierce, bloody, and unjust 1873 Modoc War that captures the conflict’s dramatic battles, betrayals, and devastating end. The profiles of four Native American women in Peace Weavers shatter stereotypes and illuminate the hidden legacy of Puget Sound’s strategic cross-cultural marriages. In Captain Cook’s Final Voyage, the little-known journals of two young officers offer extraordinary eyewitness portrayals of the famous mariner’s demanding and dramatic last adventure. Finally, Crown Jewel Wilderness chronicles how activism led to the creation of North Cascades National Park.
