Join us this Thursday for a Vanpool Open House Event in CUE 518

WSU Transportation Services will be hosting an open house for anyone interested in learning more about the WSU Vanpool program. The event will be this Thursday, March 1, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., in Smith Center (CUE) room 518. All WSU staff, faculty and students are welcome to attend, and refreshments will be provided while supplies last.

It will be an open house-style event, with no structured beginning or end, meaning people are welcome to filter in and out at their leisure, chat with representatives from Transportation Services about the Vanpool program, as well as speaking with folks who are currently participating in the Vanpool program.

The event will offer existing Vanpool members as well as prospective or interested folks the opportunity to ask questions, voice comments or concerns about the Vanpool program, and also offer people the opportunity to give anonymous feedback about the Vanpool program on comment cards.

The Transportation Options team is working hard to grow the Vanpool program, and one way to do so is to make the program more attractive through offering more comfortable vehicles. Spokane Transit Authority has agreed to let us borrow their 2017 Ford Transit van for this event so existing and prospective Vanpoolers can tour the state-of-the-art vehicle, and allow Transportation Services to gauge whether people would be interested in upgrading WSU’s vanpool vehicles.

We look forward to seeing everyone there, and for questions regarding the open house or the WSU Vanpool program please visit our website, or contact WSU Transportation Services TDM Coordinator Brent Atkinson at brent.atkinson@wsu.edu or 509-335-4482.
