MOSCOW, Idaho – Kathleen M. Oller, who worked at WSU Pullman from March 1985 to February 2009, died Dec. 17, 2017, at her home in Moscow, Idaho. She was 72.
Kathy was born July 15, 1945, in Moscow to Clayton P. and Nellie R. Oliver Mulalley. She grew up and attended school in Troy, Idaho. On March 14, 1964, she and Wesley E. Oller were married in Moscow. They made their home in Moscow where she was a homemaker.
Oller worked for the Idahonian newspaper as an equipment operator for several years, before going to work in March 1985 at Washington State University as an equipment operator in the Mail Services department. She retired from WSU in February 2009.
She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, traveling, crocheting and making many afghans for folks.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Wes, at their Moscow home; a son, Wesley O. Oller of Moscow; and a daughter, Valerie Cowger of Pierce, Idaho; and grandchildren, Kelsey Bradshaw of Lewiston and Austin Bradshaw in Orofino. She also leaves brothers, Ron Mulalley of Kellogg, Idaho, and Jerry Mulalley of Lewiston, Idaho. Her sisters, Elaine Campbell of Spokane, Wash., Marry Elzea of Birch Bay, Wash. and Jeanette “Peachy” Roberts of Lubbock, Texas, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Mickey Mulalley, and a sister, Betty Ann McCormick.
The family suggests memorials be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
