Making evening and weekend parking easier at WSU

WSU Transportation Services is excited to announce that we will be installing an electronic pay station in the Fine Arts parking garage in the near future. This will simplify purchasing parking for evening and weekend patrons.

Please note, that this particular garage will remain Orange 1 permit parking only from 5 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. However, for those who wish to use the garage after 5pm on the weekdays, or all day Saturday and Sunday, the pay station’s new pay by plate system will make parking easier and get you to your event quicker. Just snap a photo of your vehicle license plate with your cell phone (so you don’t forget it), go to the pay station by the first floor elevator, enter your license plate, make your payment, and you are on your way! No need to put a permit in your vehicle, your license plate is your permit! Pricing will remain the same at $3 after 5 p.m. on weekdays and $3 per day on Saturday and Sunday.

If you have a new car and haven’t got your license plates yet, you will need to have the last four of your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), located in the lower driver side of your windshield.
