Irrigation Water Restrictions

Due to maintenance and repairs to one of the Pullman Campus wells we have had to reduce the amount of water available for irrigation. We have prioritized our irrigation requirements in order to support research activities, new plantings, and high visibility areas.  As a result, some areas of campus will have reduced or no irrigation.  This will mainly impact grassy areas outside of the core of Campus and you will see the grass turning brown and going dormant due to the unseasonably warm temperatures this last week and week end. The work on the well should be complete by the end of the month at which point normal irrigation will resume.  If you have any questions or specific concerns, please contact Facilities Services at 5-9000 and they will direct you to the appropriate contact.
